Privacy

Short version: we collect as little as possible and never sell it.

What the report form stores

• Your answers: shoe, hours, sessions, what happened, grip, style, patching, and notes.
• Your email, only if you type one in. We use it only to send the newsletter, and only if you tick that box.
• A rough country code from your connection (for example "US"), used to spot spam. We don't store your IP address.

Reports are stored in a Cloudflare D1 database. Shoe stats from approved reports get published (never your email). We don't put notes on the site if they contain personal details.

Spam protection

The form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to check that you're human. Turnstile is covered by Cloudflare's Turnstile privacy addendum. No ad trackers.

Affiliate links

Some "check price" links are affiliate links. When you click one, the store (for example Tactics or Amazon) may set its own cookie to credit us for a sale. Their privacy policies apply on their sites.

Newsletter

One email a month, with an unsubscribe link in every email. When the newsletter is live, it's sent through our email provider, and your email is shared with them for that purpose only.

Delete your data

Want a report or your email removed? Use the report form: pick your shoe, write "DELETE" in the notes with the email you used, and we'll remove it.
